For Leaders Building Power Without Losing Themselves
I support ambitious, self-aware leaders navigating high-stakes growth, visibility, and decision-making. They are often carrying more than most people can see, expected to lead clearly while absorbing the emotional labor, ambiguity, and pressure around them. I help them protect the source of their work, make cleaner decisions, and codify clarity into business architecture, operating rhythms, and owned assets that support the lives they actually want to lead.
“Before working with Tori, I felt like I was in a room with my own brilliance and creative potential and vision, but I couldn't see what I was capable of because I was trapped in the darkness of my own mind. Working with Tori was like inviting someone to shine a light and help me see with such precision and clarity what I couldn't alone. And then having someone right there by my side as my co-architect, shaping the me I could finally see in my head into reality.”
— Van Newman, Founder of On Script/Off Script, Computer Says Maybe Podcast Showrunner at The Maybe, Screenwriter & Narrative Strategist, Research Fellow at Social Resonance LabThe Regenerative Power Design Framework™
The Regenerative Power Design Framework™ emerged from a pattern I couldn’t ignore.
I started my practice with the assumption that failure was the defining challenge for women of our time. But over years of working closely with high-performing, deeply capable leaders, I realized something more precise and more concerning:
The real fear is not failure. It is success without the familiar process of self-erasure.
Not because these leaders doubt their ability to achieve, but because many of them have already achieved success on paper. They have built the résumé, earned the title, grown the business, gained the visibility, and still learned to associate success with strain, over-functioning, emotional labor, adaptation, and chronic self-override.
When success starts to look and feel more like them, more aligned, more natural, more owned, more easeful, they do not always trust it.
They have been taught, implicitly and explicitly, that success must be hard to be real and costly to be worthy.
The result is hesitation. Overthinking. A tendency to devalue what comes naturally. To shrink or conform instead of expanding into what is actually theirs. This is not irrational. It is a rational response to systems that reward ambition, but often only when it is performed through self-extraction.
The Regenerative Power Design Framework™ was built in response to that pattern. It is a leadership system that helps leaders build power without losing themselves by protecting the source of their work (energy, judgment, lived experience) and codifying clarity into operating rhythms, business architecture, and owned assets that give back more than they take.
Instead of asking, “Will this work?” the framework asks, “Will this keep working without costing me more every time?” It shifts leadership away from urgency, over-functioning, and performance for the sake of performing, toward durability, ownership, and power that can actually hold.
The reality is this: most systems reward extraction and call it ambition, then place the burden of sustainability on the individual. This framework challenges that assumption. It helps leaders convert clarity into structure, codify insight into owned assets, and build infrastructure that continues to work without constant personal input.
At its core, it reframes leadership as a design problem rather than a personal flaw to fix.
The result is leadership that holds.
Direction gets clearer.
Decisions get cleaner.
Self-trust becomes more earned and less performative.
Opportunities become more intentional.
Resilience becomes healthier.
And over time, leaders do not just succeed within existing systems. They become less fragile within them, more precise about the value they create, and more capable of building work, relationships, and structures that reflect who they are, hold up under pressure, and reshape the systems around them.

I partner with influential institutions to design, activate, and license original leadership education that reflects how leadership actually works today—complex, human, and system-dependent.
Grounded in my proprietary Regenerative Power Design Framework™, this work supports universities, innovation labs, and executive or leadership programs seeking to move beyond abstract theory and toward durable, applied frameworks leaders can use inside real organizations.
My approach is particularly well-suited for legacy institutions, startup incubators, or innovation initiatives, where intellectual rigor, credibility, and real-world relevance must coexist.

I write and speak at the intersection of leadership, power, work, and systems—where culture shifts before policy or practice ever does.
My work is grounded in real leadership experience and original frameworks, including the Regenerative Power Design Framework™, and is designed to translate complex dynamics into language that’s sharp, accessible, and actionable. I focus on the moments where ambition, identity, and institutional design collide, and where the cost of “doing it all” is quietly passed onto individuals.
This approach has made my work well-suited for op-ed–driven platforms and cultural commentary, where personal insight, systemic critique, and forward-looking solutions are expected to coexist.
About Tori
I’m an executive coach, business advisor, and former brand executive who helps high-performing women and gender-expansive leaders build power without losing themselves.
My work is grounded in the Regenerative Power Design Framework™. It helps leaders build power without losing themselves by protecting the source of their work (energy, judgment, lived experience) and codifying clarity into operating rhythms, business architecture, and owned assets that give back more than they take.
Through my private practice, How to Fck Up Well, I work with multidisciplinary leaders across tech, media, finance, and advertising to design careers, businesses, and ecosystems that generate authority and market power without requiring constant self-extraction.
I’m also the creator of Where Light Lives, a signal intelligence platform exploring the bright spots shaping the future of women’s leadership, health, and economic power—connecting signals across culture, business, and technology to highlight where meaningful change is already underway.
Previously, I spent more than a decade working alongside disruptive startups, emerging media platforms, and creative agencies—often supporting founders who were building entirely new playbooks for how brands, communities, and culture move. In those pressure-cooker environments, leadership either sharpens or fractures. The experience taught me how to map hidden incentives, decode power dynamics, and translate complexity into strategic momentum.
But some of my most formative lessons came long before that, growing up as a “restaurant kid,” where I watched my parents create a space where people felt seen, fed, and safe. It’s where I learned to read a room, resolve tension, and lead through intuition and care—skills I now bring into every client relationship.
My belief is simple: self-respecting leaders build better companies. And when power, wealth, and ownership are in the hands of discerning, culturally aware, and values-driven leaders, entire systems begin to shift.
