Tori Lazar is an executive coach, business advisor, writer, and former brand executive who helps high-performing women and gender-expansive leaders build power without losing themselves. Her work is grounded in the Regenerative Power Design Framework™, her original leadership system and body of IP for protecting the source of a leader’s work—energy, judgment, lived experience—while turning clarity into operating rhythms, business architecture, and owned assets that give back more than they take.
Since founding How to Fck Up Well in 2023, Tori has advised executives, founders, creators, and multidisciplinary leaders across tech, media, advertising, and finance, helping translate ambition into material leverage: stronger compensation, protected equity and IP, licensing opportunities, acquisition pathways, and capital raised by early-stage founders. Her broader body of work spans She’s So Lucky, where she serves as Strategic Operating Partner and Co-CEO alongside Les Alfred, and Where Light Lives, her signal intelligence platform exploring how power is designed long before it becomes visible. Across all of it, Tori’s belief is simple: you shouldn’t have to trade yourself to succeed. When power, wealth, and ownership move into more discerning hands, entire systems begin to shift.

Tori Lazar is an executive coach, business advisor, writer, and former brand executive who helps high-performing women and gender-expansive leaders build power without losing themselves.
Her work is grounded in her original leadership system and body of IP, the Regenerative Power Design Framework™. It helps leaders build power without losing themselves by protecting the source of their work (energy, judgment, lived experience) and codifying clarity into operating rhythms, business architecture, and owned assets that give back more than they take.
Since founding her private practice, How to Fck Up Well, in 2023, Tori has advised roughly 30 to 40 executives, founders, creators, and multidisciplinary leaders across tech, media, advertising, and finance. Beyond that, her advice column and career advancement course have reached hundreds of thousands of women globally through Girlboss. That work has translated into material leverage: higher salaries, stronger severance outcomes, preserved equity, protected IP, licensing opportunities, acquisition pathways, and millions raised by early-stage founders, including clients backed by globally recognized investors.
As Strategic Operating Partner and Co-CEO of She’s So Lucky, Tori supports Les Alfred—a beloved podcast host, media founder, and trusted cultural voice—in the next phase of the company’s growth across business model strategy, editorial and monetization planning, partnership development, media and licensing opportunities, IP positioning, and operational infrastructure. Together, they’re working at the edge of the creator economy’s next chapter: expanding women’s participation in the ownership, infrastructure, and economic upside of the audiences, trust, media, and cultural influence they are already building.
Through Where Light Lives, her signal intelligence platform, Tori explores the belief that power is designed long before it’s visible. Through essays, case studies, and cultural analysis, she decodes the terms, rooms, narratives, incentives, and systems shaping women’s leadership, health, and economic power—highlighting where meaningful change is already underway and how wealth and power can be used to build a more humane world.
Previously, Tori spent more than a decade working alongside disruptive startups, emerging media platforms, and creative agencies—often supporting founders who were building entirely new playbooks for how brands, communities, and culture move. In those pressure-cooker environments, leadership either sharpens or fractures. The experience taught her how to map hidden incentives, decode power dynamics, and translate complexity into strategic momentum.
But some of her most formative lessons came long before that, growing up as a “restaurant kid,” watching her parents create a space where people felt seen, fed, and safe. It’s where she learned to read a room, resolve tension, and lead through intuition and care—skills she now brings into every client relationship.
Her belief is simple: self-respecting leaders build better companies. And when power, wealth, and ownership are in the hands of discerning, culturally aware, and values-driven leaders, entire systems begin to shift.
